Kathmandu. According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, the weather is cloudy in most parts of Nepal on Sunday due to the influence of monsoon wind.
According to the Division, monsoon wind is affecting some parts of Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati, Gandaki province and a few parts of the eastern region of Lumbini province. There is partial influence of westerly wind and local air in the western region.
Under the influence of this, the weather will be partly to generally cloudy in the hilly region including Koshi Province and mainly fair to partly cloudy in the rest of the country. Light to moderate rainfall is taking place at one or two places of Koshi and Bagmati provinces.
It will be partly to generally cloudy throughout the country during the day. Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely to occur at a few places of Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces and at a few places of rest of the country. Heavy rainfall is also likely to occur at one or two places of Koshi Province.
Light to moderate rain accompanied by lightning is likely to occur at a few places of all the provinces.
Heavy to very heavy rainfall is also likely to occur at one or two places of the provinces except Karnali.
