Kathmandu. The Insurance Institute of Nepal (IIN) is going to organize a basic training program for insurance surveyors. According to the IIN, basic training on home, property, business and engineering insurance, motor insurance, transport insurance and air insurance insurance surveyor will be organized.
To participate in the training, one must have acquired the qualification to be an insurance surveyor as per the Insurance Rules, 2081 BS. According to IIN, candidates should have at least a bachelor’s degree in engineering, passed the chartered accountant examination and a bachelor’s degree, and should have worked in any non-life, short life or reinsurance or nepal insurance authority for at least 10 years in an officer level position or bachelor’s degree and an associate in non-life insurance or equivalent degree in non-life insurance from an internationally recognized insurance institution.
According to the IIN, applications can be made till May 20, 2019 to participate in the training and the first applicants will be selected on the basis of first priority and the training will be conducted at the rate of 30 people in each group.
