Kathmandu. IGI Prudential Insurance has called its 28th Annual General Meeting.
The meeting of the Board of Directors of the company held on Wednesday decided to hold the AGM on January 8. The assembly will begin at 10:00 am at Amrapali Banquet in Bhatbhateni, Kathmandu.
The company is in the financial year 2081. The proposed cash dividend for 82 will be approved. For the current paid up capital of Rs 3.02 billion, the company has proposed a cash dividend of Rs 15,146,66,731.95, which is 5 percent of the current paid-up capital of the last FY.
The meeting shall pass a special resolution amending Rule 9(g)(2) of the Companies Regulations. The meeting shall also endorse a special resolution authorizing the Board of Directors to make any changes in case any direction is received from the body recording the Memorandum of Association and Articles of Association of the company.
The meeting will approve the appointment of Directors and approve the annual and auditor’s report of the previous fiscal year. The same assembly elected the current fiscal year 2082. 83. Approve the proposal regarding the appointment of the auditor and the determination of his/her remuneration.
The company has decided to close the book on January 1 for the purpose of meeting and dividend. This means that only the shareholders who have remained in the company before January 16 will be eligible to receive the dividend and participate in the meeting.
