Kathmandu. Money is lying in the government treasury. Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has released this data.
According to the NRB, rs 340.55 billion has been deposited in the government’s name in the banks till Mid-April of the current fiscal year. As of mid-July last year, the government had only Rs 63.95 billion in its name. The size of the government treasury has increased by 432.50 percent as compared to last June.
Similarly, cash mobilization in the market has also increased. Cash mobilisation in the market has increased from Rs 680.48 billion to Rs 736.81 billion as of Mid-April. Cash mobilisation has increased by 8.35 percent as compared to last June.
The IMF’s liabilities have increased by Rs 1.25 billion. The IMF’s liabilities have increased from Rs 38.95 billion to Rs 40.19 billion as of Mid-April.
