How much business did the non-life insurer bring in in a year? (with list)

Kathmandu. Last fiscal year 2081. In 1982, non-life insurers have brought in a business of about Rs 45 billion.

In the last fiscal year, 14 non-life insurance companies and four small non-life insurance companies sold 3,244,383 insurance policies and earned a total of Rs 44.91 billion in insurance premiums. According to the state-wise, non-life insurers have brought the most business from Bagmati. From Bagmati, the companies have collected Rs 30.19 billion in insurance premium by selling 1.4million insurance policies. This is 67.23 percent of the total trade.

Similarly, the second largest number of business companies have brought in from Koshi province. The companies have sold 425,398 insurance policies in the province and collected a total of Rs 3.97 billion in insurance premiums. It accounts for 8.85 percent of the total trade.

The third largest number of business companies have imported from Lumbini Province. Companies in the province have sold 519,183 insurance policies and collected Rs 3.90 billion in insurance premiums. The state has a market share of 8.70 percent.

Similarly, the companies have collected Rs 2.98 billion by selling 358,343 policies from Madhes State, Rs 2.24 billion from Gandaki, Rs 1.16 billion by selling 165,289 policies from the Far-West and Rs 449.4 million from Karnali by selling 64,293 policies.
