Kathmandu. Hotel The Soaltee Kathmandu is all set to come into operation as a hotel under the ‘Autograph Collection’ of international hotel network Marriott from Sunday.
With the presence of international hotel chain franchise hotels in the Kathmandu Valley increasing, Solti has partnered with Marriott for global marketing, preserving its glorious history. Marriott and Solti signed an agreement two months ago.
This will be the first hotel under Marriott’s ‘Autograph Collection’. Under Marriott, Kathmandu Marriott hotels are operating in Kamalpokhari, Fairfield by Marriott in Thamel and Aloft Kathmandu hotels.
According to The Soaltee Kathmandu, although the entire management and staff of the hotel will be Nepali as before, it has collaborated with Marriott for the promotion of the hotel in the international market and the loyalty program.
With the collaboration with Marriott, Soaltee believes that Soaltee’s customers will get more benefits and benefits.
Under the Marriott ‘Bonvoy Loyalty Program’ issued for Marriott customers, eligible tourists will get the same facility in the service of ‘The Soaltee Kathmandu’ for various discounts and facilities.
There are a total of 285 rooms in The Soaltee Kathmandu, one of the oldest rooms in Kathmandu, which came into operation from Bikram Sambat 2023. This is a five-star hotel.
In 2068 BS, Overoy Hotels sold most of its shares to Soaltee Enterprises Pvt. Ltd. and has been operating entirely under Nepali ownership and management. In this hotel, 58 percent of Enterprises, 12 percent of Nepal Air Service Corporation and 30 percent of the general public.
