In the third quarter, the company has earned a profit of Rs 989.3 million. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 931.1 million in the year-ago period. The company’s profit increased by 6.25 percent in the review period compared to the previous year.
During the review period, the company has accumulated Rs 3.12 billion in share premium. In the same period last year, the share premium stood at Rs 3.12 billion.
The company has a share capital of Rs 10.40 billion, rs 1.63 billion in special reserve, Rs 169.4 million in disaster fund, Rs 1.02 billion in retained earnings and Rs 365 million in other equities. As of Mid-July last year, the company had Rs 1.05 billion in special reserves, Rs 107 million in disaster fund, Rs 519.6 million in retained earnings and Rs 135.1 million in other equities.
During the review period, the company has earned a total insurance premium of Rs 4.46 billion. In the same period last year, the company had earned a total insurance premium of Rs 3.79 billion. The company’s total insurance premium surged by 17.38 percent compared to the same period last fiscal year.
The company has earned a net insurance premium of Rs 4.18 billion till the third quarter. In the same period last year, the company had earned a net insurance premium of Rs 3.49 billion. Net insurance revenue has increased by 19.76 percent compared to the previous year.
The company’s annual earnings per share (EPS) increased to Rs 12.68. Last year, the EPS was Rs 12.41. With a net worth of Rs 161.24 per share, the company has a PE ratio of 80.73 times.
