Kathmandu. Himalayan Life Insurance Limited has distributed track suits and T-shirts to 232 members of 52 families of Raute community known as Lokhunmukha Firente community at Dadeldhura Jogbudha, Parshuram Municipality-4, Rajudi.
Dadeldhura Deputy Provincial Chief Tek Raj Acharya presided over the programme, which was held in the presence of Ward No. 4 Chair Bees Ram Singh Bohara and other members.
On the occasion, Ward Chair Bohara said that such programs would encourage the Raute caste to live in one place and create a positive attitude of the society towards insurance.
Explaining about the program, Himalaya Life has been doing such activities every year as an institutional social responsibility, distributing jackets in different districts of the hills last year, distributing food grains and fruits and such programs will continue in the coming days, said Tek Raj Acharya, deputy chief of the organization.
Now the Raute caste should also think about the future, develop the habit of saving and send their young children and fathers to study in the school.
