Kathmandu. Himalayan Everest Insurance and MetLife Nepal have won the title in the 10th edition of Insurance Asia Awards.
Himalayan Everest won the ‘Domestic General Inspector of the Year’ and ‘Insurance Product Innovation of the Year’ awards at an event held in Singapore on Tuesday. MetLife Nepal has bagged the ‘Social Media Initiative of the Year’ award.
These are the only two insurers from Nepal to receive the Insurance Asia Award. Dozens of insurance companies have been awarded in different categories in recognition of the insurer’s leadership, innovation and expertise.
More than 200 insurance company leaders participated in the 
program. This prestigious award program serves as a major platform for organizations to exemplify excellence in claims initiatives, product innovation, customer service, digital transformation, etc. It highlights firms and leaders who cross borders and bring about meaningful change in the Asia Pacific region.
