Kathmandu. The health service providers associated with the health insurance program have to ask the Health Insurance Board 7 days before the claim code expires.
Issuing a notice today, the Insurance Board informed that this decision has been taken regarding the claim code. To get the claim code, you have to email the [email protected] of the Insurance Board.
The service provider health institution uses the claim code to ask the insurance board for claim payment after providing services to the insured. Organizations will now have to submit the claim within 7 days of the expiry of the claim code.
Similarly, in order to maintain data security and confidentiality, the health institutions providing the service should write to the insurance board only through the official e-mail address of the organization while sharing information with the board. The Insurance Board has requested not to correspond by personal e-mail.
