Kathmandu. Guru Prasad Poudel has been appointed as the spokesperson of Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB).
Poudel has been appointed as the spokesperson of the party effective from November 19. He is currently the Executive Director of Nepal Rastra Bank.
Vs. Poudel joined Nepal Rastra Bank in 2059 BS. He is currently working in the Department of Human Resources.
He has also worked in the Bank and Financial Institutions Regulation Department, Payment Systems Department, Foreign Exchange Management Department and Bank Supervision Department.
Earlier, Kiran Pandit, executive director of the NRB, had served as the spokesperson of the central bank.
