Kathmandu. Another mysterious interstellar visitor has entered our solar system. This has surprised not only the scientific world but also the general public.

The 3i Atlas, an object discovered in July 2025, has sparked a debate between scientific facts and alien speculation. This is the third such object from outside the solar system, which has given a chance to uncover the secrets hidden in the depths of the universe.

3i Atlas: A huge and mysterious visitor{

}

The 3i Atlas is not an ordinary object discovered by Chile’s Atlas Survey Telescope. It is an interstellar comet. It arrived here after billions of years of travel from an outer star system, not from our solar system. Its size is estimated to range from 7 to 12 miles (12–20 km). This makes it the largest interstellar object ever discovered. The object made its closest approach to the Sun at the end of November and is now moving away from Earth, traveling at 1.3 million miles per hour. Scientists say that it does not pose any kind of risk of collision.

Scientific facts and alien noise

When something comes from the depths of the universe, it is natural to talk about aliens. Due to the huge size and strange speed of the 3i÷Atlas, some people and online reports have speculated that it could be an alien spacecraft. Rumors of an “alien attack” even spread on social media. However, the vast scientific community has dismissed all these speculations. Scientists say that this object is a completely natural, ancient comet. Which has nothing to do with alien activity.

Scientific significance and future exploration{

}

The arrival of the 3i Atlas is a rare opportunity for scientists. From this study, we can get information about the star systems outside our solar system, how the planets formed there, and the state of the chemical elements necessary for life. Such interstellar visitors could also lead to new theories about the origin of water, organic matter, or life on Earth.

The incident also highlights the need to send robotic missions to study such objects more closely in the future. Although the 3i Atlas is now just a natural phenomenon, it sends an important message about how much remains to be discovered in our universe.
