Kathmandu. Good news has been revealed for foreign nationals waiting for permanent residence (PR) in Canada.
Canadian Immigration has invited foreigners to apply for PR through express entry draw under the Provincial Nominated Program (PNP) category. Foreigners wishing to stay in Canada can apply to become PR under the PNP program. The program provides PR status to foreigners after emigrating to Canada. However, he does not become a Canadian citizen.
Canada Express Entry is a program for skilled immigrants looking for PR in Canada. Which is managed by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
Express Entry includes the Federal Skilled Worker Program, the Canadian Experience Class, the Federal Skilled Business Program, and the Provincial Enrolled Program. The Canada Department of Immigration conducts express entry draws using the Comprehensive Category System (CRS) to select applicants based on factors such as age, educational background, employment history and proficiency in language.
Based on the CRS score category, the Department of Immigration sends invitations to applicants for PR. On August 18, IRCC organized the draw under the express entry system. Of these, 225 invitations were sent to selected foreign nationals. Of these, the lowest category candidate got a CRS score of 800.
Earlier, the final draw under the PNP programme was held on August 6, in which 225 express entries were issued to invited foreign nationals. The lowest category candidates got a CRS score of 739.
