Kathmandu. The government has formed the Physical Infrastructure Reconstruction Fund. At the same time, the government has called for financial support to the fund.
The Ministry of Finance has set up the fund to provide reconstruction, economic recovery and relief after the physical structures of the Jenji movement were torched and vandalized. The Ministry has appealed to the Government of Nepal, provincial and local governments, private sector, domestic and foreign citizens, the Non-Resident Nepali community, friendly countries, development partners and international organizations to participate in the great campaign of nation reconstruction.
The Ministry has also clarified that such financial assistance amount cannot be reduced or deducted while calculating the taxable income of the contributor in the current fiscal year.
