Kathmandu. The government has prepared an action plan to make all types of business registration free of cost.
A committee formed by the government to implement the recommendations of the report of the High Level Economic Reform Suggestion Commission formed under the chairmanship of former Secretary Rameshwor Prasad Khanal has prepared an economic reform action plan with sectoral and ministerial responsibilities and timelines. Through the same action plan, the government is preparing to implement the provision of free registration of businesses of all kimis within a year.
Similarly, the government has an action plan to establish a single registration body to register all types of businesses, private firms, partner firms and companies in one body. Arrangements will be made to make all the procedures related to business and company registration, renewal and updation and submission of necessary documents online.
The government is also going to make arrangements for the availability of business registration certificate and local account number (PAN) simultaneously. The government is preparing to give online access to the details of such business to the local level, which has the head office after registering the business.
The government has set a deadline of one year to implement both these arrangements.
