Kathmandu. Global IME Bank Limited has launched rooftop solar loan scheme to promote installation of solar systems in industrial and commercial buildings on the occasion of Earth Day.
The main objectives of this loan are to expand access to renewable energy, ensure energy security by reducing dependence on hydropower energy supply, and reduce environmental impacts by reducing energy consumption.
Productive industries and businesses such as hotels, hospitals, cold stores, housing companies, commercial buildings, educational institutions will be able to directly benefit from this loan.
The bank has launched the rooftop solar loan scheme to reduce the environmental impact and move towards sustainability.
