Kathmandu. Global IME Bank Limited has been honored with the Best Bank Award of ‘Euro Money Award for Excellence 2025’. Representatives of Euromoney magazine handed over the award to Ram Bahadur Bhandari, board member of the bank and Shishir Shakya, manager of treasury and correspondent banking department, at a special ceremony held in Singapore on Tuesday.
Established in 1992 by Euromoney magazine, the award is a prestigious award in the banking sector. Global IME Bank has been given this award for its services, financial condition, corporate social responsibility, new technology introduced in the banking sector, investment in environmental, social and good governance sectors and the bank’s high-level performance.
Euromoney magazine is known for its in-depth analysis and critique of the banking sector. The Euromoney group consists of renowned and experienced people in the banking and financial sector. With this year’s award, Global IME Bank has been awarded the Best Bank Award for the third time. Earlier, Global IME Bank had won the Best Bank Award at Euro Money Award for Excellence 2022/2024.
Earlier, Global IME Bank was honored as the best bank of Nepal in two categories under Global Finance’s Best Bank Award 2024/2025 and Euro Money Award for Excellence 2024, Euro Money Award for Excellence 2022/2024.
