Kathmandu. On June 12, an Air India Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft en route to Gatwick in London crashed in Ahmedabad. After this incident, there have been continuous reports of various technical problems or problems in the Dreamliner aircraft of the American company Boeing.

An Air India flight from Hong Kong to Delhi was called back to Hong Kong on Monday due to a technical snag. Flights from London to Amritsar and Delhi to Paris were also cancelled on Tuesday due to a technical snag. For both these flights, Air India used Boeing’s Dreamliner 787-8 from its fleet.

Crest

In such a situation, the question arises whether there is really any technical problem in these Dreamliner aircraft of Boeing or did these flights have to be canceled due to regular engine problems? Following flight number AI-171 crash in Ahmedabad, the DGCA had ordered a re-inspection of all 33 Boeing Dreamliner aircraft in air India’s fleet before taking off. Should all these dreamliners be grounded until complete inspection of their engines, hydraulic systems, landing gears, fuel systems and others?

criteria being met?

All these 33 Dreamliners of Air India should be sent to a good MRO at home or abroad for proper inspection before being used for commercial use, or whether Boeing should inspect it itself and get their flight consent certificate.

The question is whether the DGCA should once again investigate and ensure that Air India is indeed flying these aircraft as per rules and regulations or whether they are being allowed to fly beyond the prescribed standards.

News of a technical error

Two Dreamliner aircraft were found to have technical faults on Monday and Tuesday, prompting serious investigations into all the planes. However, on Tuesday, Air India flight AI-159 from Ahmedabad to Gatwick had to be canceled. Boeing’s Dreamliner aircraft would also be used in this. However, Air India said that the aircraft was not available due to this.

On the other hand, Air India flight AI-180 from San Francisco to Mumbai via Kolkata had to stop in Kolkata after landing at 12.45 am on Monday-Tuesday. Boeing’s B-777-232 (LR) left engine has developed some technical problems.

In such a situation, keeping in mind the safety of the passengers, the plane was stopped here. The passengers were evacuated from the flight at 5.20 am on Tuesday. By then, the passengers were very disappointed. – Agency
