Kathmandu. Kathmandu: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has decided to invest Rs 2.92 billion in fixed deposits of banks.
The central bank is going to invest Rs 2.92 billion in fixed deposits of banks in various funds. For this, the Rastra Bank has called upon the banks to offer interest rates till 12 midnight on July 14.
Out of the total amount, Rastra Bank will invest Rs 2.34 billion in commercial banks, Rs 438.7 million in national-level development banks and Rs 146.2 million in national-level finance companies.
This investment will be made for 366 days from August 11, 2025 to August 11, 2026.
