Kathmandu. The first annual general meeting of Asian Hotel Limited was held under the chairmanship of Paras Adhikari, Chairman of Board of Directors. The AGM approved the annual report, audit report and financial statements of the Board of Directors for the fiscal year 2081/82.
The AGM has also approved the decision to restructure the capital structure of the company by revising the authorized and issued and paid-up capital of the company and re-balancing the share structure of promoters and ordinary shares.
The meeting also paid Rs. The board of directors has been empowered to take necessary decisions for administrative, financial and technical reforms by approving the proposal of issuing 42,00,000 units of ordinary shares of 100 face value of face value.
The four-star luxury hotel setup includes 66 rooms like “Elite King”, “Classic Premium”, “Suites”), Swimming pool, Spa and 24-hour health club. For weddings, conferences and social events, the company has been doing high-end event business from banquet halls, conference halls and party palaces. The hotel also offers a casino, three types of bars, free Wi-Fi, minibar, luxe bathtub÷jacuzzi, car parking, an open garden, and recreational activities such as campfire and game screens.
The company reaffirmed its confidence in shareholders and pledged to play an even more active role in the service level and expansion of Asian Hotels in the future.
Chairman Paras Adhikari said that the company has achieved remarkable progress in a short period and is committed to establish the hotel as a leading tourism destination of Nepal. The hotel has prioritized sustainable tourism, local collaboration and high-level hospitality expansion in the coming year, he added.
The company has appointed Muktinath Capital as its issue manager for the IPO issuance.
