Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Minister for Finance Rameshwor Prasad Khanal and Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Nepal, H.E. Park Tae-young, paid a courtesy call on them at the Ministry of Finance on Monday. On the occasion, Minister Khanal also expressed gratitude to the Korean government for its continued support and highlighting the bilateral diplomatic relations between the two countries.
Stating that the state of projects and programmes run with Korean assistance was satisfactory, he said economic partnership with Korea would be continued.
On the occasion, the Ambassador expressed happiness over the coordination and cooperation between Korea and Koica during the 30 years of the establishment of bilateral relations between the Government of Korea and KOICA.
He also informed that the Korean government is going to establish a separate visa center to facilitate Nepali workers to go to South Korea for employment.
Likewise, the ambassador requested the NRB to facilitate for providing concessional loan through the Agricultural Development Bank with the help of KICA for the promotion of entrepreneurship of Nepali nationals who have returned to South Korea for employment under the EPS system.
