Kathmandu. Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel has prepared a timetable for the fiscal year 2082 BS. He has directed the secretaries to implement the budget of 83.
In a meeting held at the Ministry of Finance today, Finance Minister Poudel directed to implement the budget by preparing the annual plan and timetable related to the budget. Stating that the Ministry of Finance would extend all possible support in the implementation of the budget, he also directed to take steps at the right time and get results in the implementation of the budget.
Finance Minister Poudel stressed the need to expand the maximum area of non-tax revenue within the provisions and limits of the existing laws. According to the Ministry of Finance, fiscal year 2081. Rs 128 billion was collected in 1982. Which is 10.9 percent of the total revenue.
In the meeting, it was discussed to identify additional sources related to non-tax revenue and move forward by implementing it. Finance Secretary, Revenue Secretary, Secretaries of Ministries and others were present in the meeting.
