Kathmandu. Everest Bank Last Fiscal Year 2082. The financial statements for the first quarter of 83 years (July-September) have been made public.
According to the financial report, Everest Bank has earned a net profit of Rs 1.17 billion in the first three months of the current FY. Previous fiscal year 2081. In the first quarter of the current fiscal year, the bank earned a net profit of Rs 1.12 billion. The profit of the bank increased by 4.57 percent compared to the previous year.
The bank’s distributable profit stood at Rs 5.49 billion in the review period. The bank had posted a distributable profit of Rs 2.15 billion in the same period last year. Distributable profit increased by 155.25 percent.
The bank’s operating profit stood at Rs 1.68 billion in the first half of the current FY. Operating profit was Rs 1.61 billion in the same period a year ago. The operating profit of the bank has also increased by 4.59 percent.
The bank has earned Rs 2.40 billion in interest income till mid-October. The bank had posted a net profit of Rs 2.13 billion in the same period last year. Interest income increased by 12.38 percent in the review period compared to the previous year.
The bank has a paid-up capital of Rs 12.94 billion with rated earnings of Rs 5.49 billion and reserve capital of Rs 14.41 billion. In the previous year, the retained earnings stood at Rs 4.89 billion and the reserves stood at Rs 13.86 billion.
During the review period, the bank collected deposit of Rs 313.89 billion and extended loan of Rs 227.34 billion. The bank had collected deposit of Rs 363.63 billion and extended loan of Rs 213.43 billion in the same period of the previous year.
The non-performing assets ratio (NPL) of the bank has come down to 0.74 percent in the current fiscal year. The bank’s NPL was 0.77 percent in the same period a year ago.
In the first quarter of the current FY, the bank’s annual earnings per share (EPS) has increased to Rs. 36.44. EPS was Rs. 34.85 in the same period last year. The bank has a net worth of Rs 255.69 per share with a P/E ratio of 17.57 times.
