Kathmandu. Like every year in association with Nepal Rastra Bank, Everest Bank has conducted financial literacy programs across the country as part of a week-long campaign from Chaitra 4th to mark Global Money Week. Under this program, the bank has been successful in spreading the message of financial literacy among more than 3,000 students by organizing financial literacy programs in various schools/campuses through various branches in all 7 provinces. In the program, some students were also given a tour of the bank’s branches and information was provided about the services provided by the bank.
Think before you follow, wise money tomorrow. In various programs held under the slogan “Think before you follow, wise money tomorrow”, awareness programs were organized among the youth on financial knowledge, skills, attitude, financial inclusion, financial awareness, safe digital transactions, services provided by the bank and precautions to be taken in this regard.
This bank, established in a joint partnership with Punjab National Bank, India, has a customer base of more than 1.4 million and has a network of 131 branches, 4 extension counters, 7 regional offices, and 167 ATMs across the country.
