ESEWA and Nepal SBI Bank sign moU for electronic transactions

Kathmandu. Nepal’s first and leading digital payment service provider Esewa and Nepal SBI Bank have entered into a partnership to provide electronic transaction services. With this partnership, eSewa users and customers of Nepal SBI Bank will now be able to easily transfer money electronically.

Representatives of both the companies signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to provide more service and access to the customers of both the organizations.

With this partnership, customers of Nepal SBI Bank will now be able to load money directly into eSewa wallet using their mobile banking app, while eSewa users will be able to transfer the money in their eSewa wallet to Nepal SBI Bank account.

With this, the number of banks and financial institutions affiliated to eSewa has now reached 51. With the addition of Nepal SBI Bank to eSewa, it is expected that nepal’s digital financial services will be further supported.

Mr. Jagdish Khadka, CHIEF Executive Officer of ESEWA, expressed happiness over the agreement signed between ESEWA and Nepal SBI Bank and emphasized that this collaboration will facilitate and facilitate the experience of money transfer between the two organizations.

He also said that this agreement will save valuable time of customers and make digital transactions more secure and effective. Khadka has also pledged to work together more as per the need for the benefit and convenience of the customers in the coming days.
