Kathmandu. Minister for Drinking Water Pradeep Yaad has said that the drainage system would be improved in Birgunj Metropolitan City-18, Supchaina and Ward No. 21 Parwanipur areas.
Laying the foundation stone for the construction of drains and slopes on the road section from Parwanipur to Patelnagar in Birgunj Metropolitan City-21, Minister Yadav said that the problem of water logging during the year in the area would be completely solved after the completion of the construction.
“After the construction of drains and slopes, the drainage system of the area will be improved and the roads will be streamlined,” he said. Cooperation of all parties is necessary in the development works. ”
Similarly, Minister Yadav said that such projects are very important to make the day-to-day life of the citizens easier by giving priority to the development of local infrastructures.
“A lot of work has been done in the field of drinking water and drainage. The government is fully committed to making daily life easier for the citizens. ”
Minister Yadav said that this work has been started by allocating necessary budget for the convenience of the people of this ward after understanding the problems of the people of this ward as the area falls under his constituency.
Minister Yadav also directed the concerned bodies to complete the services related to the direct life of the people such as distribution of pure drinking water, construction of drains and slopes on time.
According to Birgunj Metropolitan City-21 Ward Chair Radhe Krishna Sah Rauniyar, the construction of the drain and slope was laid at a cost of Rs 17.2 million and is 1,256 meters long up to Ward No. 18 Supchaina and Ward No. 21 Parwanipur.
Locals here have expressed happiness that they will now get an easy and systematic drainage system after the construction of the drain and slope has started. The locals, who have been fed up with the problem of water logging for years, are now expected to get an easy and systematic drainage system.
