Kathmandu. US President Donald Trump has made another decision around the world. He waived taxes on some items. It is believed that this will help customers from inflation.
President Trump’s decision will also benefit big companies like Apple and Samsung. The Trump administration had previously imposed the highest tariffs on China. Now this decision will bring little flexibility to his reciprocal tariff strategy.
The US is now trying to strike a balance between economic pressure and inflation. According to US media reports, the main purpose of removing smartphones, computers, chips and other electronic goods from the proposed tariff is to relieve customers from inflation and to ease the supply of goods to traders. It is also believed that this will reduce the growing trade tensions with China.
These goods have been taken out of the 125 percent tariff imposed on China by the Trump administration and the 10 percent tariff imposed in other countries. Most of the goods taken out of the tax are not produced in the Us. It may take many years for the United States to make those items. – Agency
