Kathmandu. The Professional Agents Association Nepal (LIC) Nepal Insurance Committee’s upcoming convention has begun. The president and treasurer of the association’s central working committee have issued a joint statement claiming that the call for the convention to be held in Janakpur on Chaitra 15 is illegal.
In a joint statement signed by president Kedarnath Adhikari and treasurer Rook Bahadur Gurung, the fourth convention organizing committee declared the Janakpur convention illegal, citing the following shortcomings: failure to complete the legal process of calling the convention, failure to renew membership, failure to pay membership details and fees to the central committee, and failure to form an organizational structure as per the statute.
The press release claimed that there was no possibility of any official program of any committee under the Professional Agents Association Nepal and Insurance Committee LIC Nepal in Janakpur on Chaitra 15.
The convention organizing committee, headed by representative Ram Prasad Acharya, has informed that all necessary preparations for the convention in Janakpur, including membership renewal and selection of representatives, have been completed.
