Kathmandu. The Gandaki Province Office of Nepal Insurance Authority (NEA) has concluded a discussion and interaction program related to insurance at Tamankhola Rural Municipality located in Baglung district. Nepal Insurance Authority Gandaki Province Office Chief Shambhu Prasad Mishra presided over the programme.
Vice-chairperson of the municipality Hira Kumari Chhantyal was the chief guest while Amit Pariyar, chief administrative officer of the rural municipality, was the special guest.
Ward chairmen, executive members, ward members, branch chiefs of offices, employees, farmers and businessmen and branch heads and employees of insurers were present on the occasion.
Assistant Director of Insurance Authority Richa Kusum Lamsal presented the action plan on the occasion. The program was conducted by Balaram Lamichhane, Assistant Director of Insurance Authority.
Discussions were held on group accident insurance, agricultural insurance and life insurance. During the speech after the discussion, the Chief Administrative Officer expressed the commitment to include the insurance programs in the upcoming policies and programs.
Also, the vice-chairperson of the rural municipality shared her experience of working as an agent and urged all present to join the insurance, saying insurance is indispensable for human life.
