Kathmandu. Total deposits of banks and financial institutions have reached 6.8 trillion rupees.

According to the latest data of Nepal Rastra Bank, the total deposits of banks and financial institutions have reached 6.8 trillion rupees on Chaitra 21. On this day, the deposits of banks and institutions had increased by 10 billion rupees. Until the previous day, the total deposits were 6.7 trillion 90 billion rupees.

On Chaitra 21, the deposits of commercial banks alone have increased by 8 billion rupees. Until the previous day, the total deposits of commercial banks were 6.6 trillion 63 billion rupees, which has increased to 6.7 trillion 71 billion rupees.

The credit investment of banks and financial institutions has also increased by 5 billion rupees. The total loan investment was 5.475 trillion rupees as of the previous day, but it has increased to 5.480 trillion rupees as of Chaitra 21.

As of Chaitra 21, the average CD ratio of banks is 79.34 percent and the interbank interest rate is 3 percent.
