Kathmandu. Deposits continue to accumulate in banks. According to the latest data, the total deposits of banks have reached close to Rs 7.3 trillion.
According to nepal rastra bank data, the total deposits of banks and financial institutions reached Rs 7,292 billion on the last day of the last fiscal year. On this day, the deposits of banks have increased by Rs 26 billion in a single day. The total deposits of banks and financial institutions stood at Rs 7,266 billion the previous day.
Banks and financial institutions have invested Rs 11 billion in a single day. At the same time, the total loan investment of banks and financial institutions has reached Rs 5.6 trillion. The total loan investment stood at Rs 5,589 billion the previous day.
The average CD ratio of banks and financial institutions has been fixed at 75.78 percent. The inter-bank interest rate has come down to 2.87 per cent.
