Kathmandu. An additional Rs 28.5 billion has entered the stock market from banks till Mid-February of the current fiscal year. According to nepal rastra bank data, rs 118.50 billion has been disbursed from banks till Mid-March of the current fiscal year. As of Last June, rs 90.09 billion loan had been disbursed. In this way, an additional Rs 28.40 billion has been disbursed from banks in the seven months of the current fiscal year. The share mortgage loan has increased by 31.5 percent as compared to Mid-June.
As of Mid-March, banks have disbursed rs 79.12 billion in loans above Rs 10 million. As of Last June, the loan of this range was Rs 55.93 billion. The demand for loans in this range has increased by 41.5 percent.
Similarly, loans in the range of Rs 10 million to Rs 10 million have gone up to Rs 14.77 billion, rs 16.44 billion and Rs 8.14 billion respectively. As of June 2018, banks had extended loans in the range of Rs 5 million to Rs 10 million to Rs 12.42 billion, rs 14.42 billion in the range of Rs 2.5 million to Rs 5 million and Rs 7.31 billion in the range of Rs 2.5 million.
Loans in the range of Rs 5 million to Rs 10 million increased by 18.9 percent, loans in the range of Rs 2.5 million to Rs 5 million increased by 14 percent and loans in the range of Up to Rs 2.5 million increased by 11.4 percent.
