Kathmandu. At least 34 people have been killed during Genji’s nationwide protests against corruption and mismanagement.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 6 died in Kathmandu Civil Hospital, 8 in National Trauma Centre, 5 in Bheri Hospital, 3 in Everest Hospital, 3 in Frontline Hospital, 2 in KMC Hospital, 2 in BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, 2 in Bayodha Hospital, 1 each in Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, Ilam Hospital and BNC Hospital.
According to the Ministry, 331 people are undergoing treatment at various hospitals across the country while 949 people have been discharged after treatment.
