Kathmandu. The government has decided to increase customs duty on import of liquor, beer, tobacco and cigarettes. Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Poudel said this while unveiling the budget for the upcoming fiscal year.
Some rates of customs duty have been adjusted. There has been a slight increase in the existing excise duty rate. The scope of health risk tax has been expanded.
