Kathmandu. The Constitution Day and National Day, 2082 is being celebrated today by organizing various programmes. President Ram Chandra Poudel will be the chief guest of the National Army Pavilion, Tundikhel at 8.30 am today. The government offices, banks, insurance companies and the share market will remain closed today.
Prime Minister Sushila Karki is scheduled to address the function. However, programmes including processions on the occasion of the Day have been cancelled due to the current special political situation.
The Constitution of Nepal was promulgated by the Constituent Assembly on September 19, 2015 as a result of the long and long struggle of the Nepalese people.
