Kathmandu. The Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI) has appointed nepal rastra bank (NRB) governor Prof. Dr. I congratulated Bishwanath Poudel and extended best wishes. The confederation team led by its president Rajesh Kumar Agrawal congratulated the newly appointed Governor Poudel and discussed the policy issues of the country’s economy on Sunday.
On the occasion, Chairman Agrawal expressed the belief that the Rastra Bank would make important policy arrangements to solve the problems being faced by the economy for the last three years. Stating that the economy is facing problems due to the contraction in overall demand, he suggested how to keep the economy moving and how to increase the mobilization of investable funds of the bank.
On the occasion, newly appointed Governor Poudel appreciated the policy suggestions of the Confederation and said that a taskforce has been formed to submit suggestions for overall improvement and strengthening of the banking sector.
Senior Vice President Birendra Raj Pandey, Vice Presidents Hem Raj Dhakal, Amit Mor, Director General Dr. Dipu Moni were also present on the occasion. Ghanshyam Ojha was also present.
