Kathmandu. The Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI) has suggested the monetary policy for the fiscal year 2082/83 BS. Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) President Rajesh Kumar Agrawal handed over suggestions for the upcoming monetary policy to Governor Prof Dr Bishwanath Poudel.
The Confederation has given a total of 15 point-wise suggestions with detailed analysis by categorizing it into four different specific categories. On the occasion, Chairman Agrawal said that monetary policy should be brought focusing on the revival of the economy by helping to achieve the targets set in the budget.
He stressed that the upcoming monetary policy should encourage the private sector to invest and boost market confidence and help revive the economy.
