On the occasion of National Tax Day 2082, the Confederation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (CNI) felicitated the high taxpayers honoured by the Government of Nepal. On the occasion of National Tax Day, the government honoured a total of 16 individuals as high taxpayers. The Confederation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce (CNI) has honored these high taxpayers on behalf of the private sector.
On the occasion of the National Tax Day 2082, Dabur Nepal Pvt. Ltd., Unilever Nepal Ltd., Soaltee Hotel Ltd., Bhatbhateni Supermarket and Departmental Store Pvt. Ltd., among the special industries, Unilever Nepal Ltd., the highest income tax payer among the tourism business, Bhatbhateni Supermarket and Departmental Store Pvt. Ltd. The Confederation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (CNI) has honoured Bhotekoshi Power Company Pvt. Ltd., which has paid the highest income tax among the energy industries.
Similarly, among the agriculture and livestock industries, Breeder Farm Pvt. Ltd. is the highest income tax payer, Verisk Nepal Pvt. Ltd. is the highest income tax payer among the information technology related service exporters, Third Eye International is the highest income tax payer among the sole firms, Nepal Investment Mega Bank Ltd. is the highest income tax payer among the banks and financial institutions and insurance. KATHMANDU: Nobel Medical College has been awarded the Confederation of Teaching Hospitals for paying the highest income tax among the health and educational institutions.
Similarly, IME Limited, which pays the highest income tax among the remittance and money transfer transactions, Nepal Telecommunication Authority (NTA) is the highest income tax payer among the agencies. More than Rs 50 crore. Among the taxpayers with a turnover of up to Rs 100 crore, CDS & Clearing Ltd. is the highest income tax payer and V.F. Clearing Ltd. is the highest income tax payer among the taxpayers with annual turnover up to Rs 500 crore. The service (Mauritius) Pvt. Ltd. felicitated Raj Bahadur Shah, managing director of Jawalakhel Group of Industries for filing VAT statement and tax for the tax period from Shrawan 2076 BS to Ashad end, 2082 BS. Shah is also the vice-president of the Confederation.
At a felicitation program held at CNI Secretariat on Tuesday, President of CNI Birendra Raj Pandey honored the best taxpayers. On the occasion, he said being the best taxpayer was not only a personal and institutional achievement but also an important contribution to the state. He said that the Confederation has also honored the contribution made to the state as a high taxpayer.
Vice-presidents of CNI, Raj Bahadur Shah, Hem Raj Dhakal, Amit Mor, Governing Council member Bijaya Shah, Revenue Committee Chairman Gopal Kumar Agrawal, Director General Dr. Pramod Kumar Shrestha and others were present on the occasion. Ghanashyam Ojha and others were also present.
