Kathmandu. Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) has urged the listed companies to pay the renewal fee of securities.
NEPSE issued a notice today for the fiscal year 2082. It has asked listed companies to pay the annual renewal fee of securities for 83 years. According to NEPSE, the renewal fee can be paid by mid-October.
Failure to pay the renewal fee within the stipulated time will result in a penalty of 10 percent of the annual renewal fee and the listing can be suspended as per Regulation 16 of the Securities Listing Bylaw, 2075.
How much does anyone have to pay the annual renewal fee?
As per the regulation, companies with a paid-up capital of up to Rs 500 million have to pay Rs 50,000 and Rs 100,000 respectively.
Similarly, debentures and mutual funds have to pay Rs 25,000 if the paid-up capital is up to Rs 50 crore, and Rs 50,000 if it is above Rs 50 crore.
