Kathmandu. Two companies listed on the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) are going to issue right shares on the same day. City Hotels and Riverfalls Power will open the right share sale to their shareholders from June 15.
City Hotel is issuing 1:0.8 i.e. 80 percent right shares of the current paid-up capital. The company will issue a total of 13.39 million units of right shares at a face value of Rs 100 each.
Shareholders can apply for this right share of the hotel till October 15. Shareholders can apply from the office of The Securities Manager Prabhu Capital and prabhu bank’s Ilam, Jawalakhel, Birgunj, Pokhara, Butwal, Surkhet and Dhangadhi branch offices. Banks and financial institutions participating in asba service licensed by the Securities Board of Nepal and their designated branch offices and CDSC can apply from ‘My Share’.
The hotel had closed the book for the sale of the right shares on August 15. This means that shareholders can apply for this right share till August 15.
Similarly, River Falls Power will issue 100 per cent right shares in the ratio of 1:1 of the existing paid-up capital. Accordingly, the company will sell a total of 7 million units of right shares at a face value of Rs 100 each worth Rs 700 million.
Shareholders can apply from Prabhu Capital, the sales manager of Prabhu Bank, as well as from The Bank’s Branches in Besisahar, Pokhara, Birgunj, Ilam, Butwal, Surkhet and Dhangadhi. Investors can apply for ‘My Shares’ of banks and financial institutions and CDSC participating in asba service licensed by the Securities Board. Applications can be made for the right shares of the company till October 30.
The company had closed the book on August 15 to issue this right. This means that the shareholders can apply for the rights till August 31.
