Kathmandu. Citizens Bank International Limited has launched an institutional social responsibility program in Kohalpur Municipality ward no. 1of Lumbini Province Banke district. It has provided necessary assistance to 11 for the construction of crematoria. The crematorium, which is under construction at the confluence of Duduwa and Rohini rivers in Kohalpur Municipality-11, aims to provide an accessible and environment-friendly alternative to the local residents as compared to the traditional cremation.
Chief Executive Officer of the bank Ganesh Raj Pokharel handed over the assistance amidst a function organized at the organization. Addressing the function, CHIEF Executive Officer Pokharel said that he was very happy to be able to support social work.
The bank, which has been conducting various programs to bring positive changes in social, economic, cultural, educational, etc. under the Corporate Social Responsibility Program, plans to do such programs in the coming days as well.
