Kathmandu. Citizens Bank has introduced the facility to take loans online on fixed deposit collateral. In order to provide simplified service to the customers, the bank can easily get the required loan on the basis of their fixed deposit using the mobile app.
Under this scheme, customers can avail a loan of 90 percent of their fixed deposit or a maximum of Rs 2 00,000 (from at least Rs 5,000) from the bank.
The amount will be deposited in the savings account of the applicant immediately. It does not require any physical documents. Citizen Bank said that this service has also been added in order to continuously bring new digital services to make the service delivery more effective by saving the time, labor and resources of its customers through the use of digital technology.
