Kathmandu. Citizens Bank International Limited has launched various attractive discounts and cashback schemes on the occasion of its 18th anniversary. In the context of the anniversary of April 15, the bank has introduced a special discount scheme on digital transactions with effect from April 1to April 30.
Under this scheme, debit card users will get 18 percent cashback or up to a maximum of Rs 180 for the first transaction of Rs 1,000 or more through posh machines or online. Similarly, 18 percent or maximum Rs 180 cashback will be given on payment of Rs 500 or more by scanning the QR through mobile banking.
Similarly, if a PhonePe user receives his business transaction amount through QR, a businessman will be given cashback of up to Rs 1,800 every day. There will be no charge for using e-com card for the first time during the plan period and the demat account will be opened free of cost. For the first time, 15 percent or maximum Rs 50 cashback will be provided on the first mobile recharge by opening a smart savings account.
In addition, a mobile banking customer will also get the opportunity to win a free mountain flight ticket. There is a provision of 50 percent discount on first year fees while issuing virtual credit cards.
Citizens Bank, which won the title of the world’s most prestigious “Bank of the Year 2024”, recently launched ‘Citizens PhonePe Credit Card’ in collaboration with PhonePe. The bank has also started share application and citizenship number service through mobile app.
Serving 1.85 million customers including 200 branches, 168 ATMs, 74 branchless banking units in 61 districts across the country, the bank has launched the discount scheme with the goal of promoting digital transactions.
