Kathmandu. Kathmandu: The Supreme Court (SC) has held that the case filed against Nepal Insurance Authority Chairman Sharad Ojha cannot be heard today.
A writ petition was filed against Ojha in the Supreme Court today. However, a joint bench of Justices Binod Sharma and Mahesh Sharma Poudel held that the case against Ojha could not be heard. Now the next case will be fixed for this case.
A single bench inline_tags_PLACEHOLDER_7 of Justice Nahakul Subedi of the Supreme Court had refused to pass an interim order against Ojha on April 15, #गत. Subedi’s bench issued a show-cause order in the name of the government and summoned both the parties for discussion.
Advocate Indira Dhamala, who is also an agent of National Life Insurance Company, had filed a writ petition against Ojha on March 27, accusing him of submitting a fake work experience certificate to become the chairman of the Insurance Authority.
