Kathmandu. Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel has said that the budget for the coming year will be prepared in coordination with the Ministry of Finance, related ministries and the National Planning Commission.
In a discussion with the Ministry of Home Affairs regarding the budget preparation for the fiscal year 2082.83, Finance Minister Poudel said that when the budget is prepared in coordination with the three parties, there will be ownership of the budget and it will also be easy to implement. He said that when the budget is prepared through discussion and consultation, there will be uniformity in understanding and the challenges and problems that have emerged can be resolved and progress can be made. He stressed that there should be coordination between policies and programs and the budget.
Finance Minister Poudel also urged to submit budget and program proposals taking into account the available resources. Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak, Vice-Chairman of the National Planning Commission, Finance Secretary, Home Secretary, Chiefs of Nepal Police and Armed Police Force, among others, were present in the discussion with the Ministry of Home Affairs.
