Kathmandu. The 71st board meeting of Nepal SBI Merchant Banking has appointed Santosh Kumar Bhandari as managing director and chief executive officer of the company. He has been appointed to the post with effect from June 1.
Prior to this, Santosh Kumar Bhandari was the head of far-western province office of Nepal SBI Bank Limited, head of finance and planning department and audit department officer.
With more than 16 years of work experience in the banking and financial sector, Bhandari is an efficient leader who can manage and manage resources to the maximum. Established as a wholly owned subsidiary of Nepal SBI Bank, Nepal SBI Merchant Banking Limited has a paid-up capital of Rs 200 million. The company has been providing merchant banking services including issue and sale manager, securities guarantor, share registrar, investment manager and institutional consultant with permission from the Securities Board of Nepal.
