Kathmandu. Banks and financial institutions will be allowed to spend money under their corporate social responsibility for the treatment of those injured in the Genji movement.
Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has amended the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Guidelines of Banks and Financial Institutions (BFIs) 2081 BS to provide the expenses provided to the poor and disadvantaged people receiving treatment at government hospitals from the Social Responsibility Fund.
In addition, the fund may also bear the expenses provided to the organizations imparting the training on the basis of the skills training provided to such persons by the Government of Nepal or an organization that provides skill training approved by the Government of Nepal to help the families of those who have not been directly employed in the Genji movement to enhance the income earning capacity.
