Kathmandu. Baburam Lamichhane, an employee of Himalayan Life Insurance, Pokhara, has achieved the MDRT target for 2026. He has achieved this success continuously since 2019. This success has been achieved due to his continuous hard work, dedication and good service.
Starting his insurance journey with the then Gurans Life, Baburam has been continuously moving forward with the dream of social change and entrepreneurship through insurance since 2074 BS.
He quit his private job and business to fully enter the insurance profession and never looked back. As a result of his insurance income and services, he has been able to buy a house and land in Pokhara. He has been living permanently in Pokhara-17, Birauta.
The financial stability he gained from insurance led him to buy a Suzuki Brezza, in which he continues to travel to different parts of the country in an extraordinary mission to spread the importance of insurance among people.
He has already visited 69 out of 77 districts. He is driven by the feeling that insurance service is not just a profession, it is a campaign to spread awareness across the nation.
He also expressed his gratitude to Mr. Prakash Regmi, Section Chief of Himalayan Life, and Mrs. Minashree Sharma Subedi for supporting and motivating him in his journey.
He aims to become MDRT for 10 consecutive times and expand insurance services at the national level by establishing agency offices through his team in all 77 districts of the country. His perseverance, dedication and success have taken the insurance profession to new heights.
