Kathmandu. Nepal Insurance Authority Chairman Sharad Ojha has said that the role of employee unions, insurance organizations and all stakeholders will be important in fulfilling the responsibilities specified in the Insurance Act.
Chairman Ojha, while inaugurating the special convention of the Nepal Insurance Authority Employee Union in Lalitpur today, said that the authority is fully ready to cooperate with all stakeholders to advance the insurance sector in an orderly manner.
Noting that the problems of the insurance sector can be solved together with all stakeholders, Chairman Ojha said that making the insurance sector organized, reliable and transparent is the main priority.
Chairman Ojha said that the government should fulfill the responsibilities given to it through work and promote good practices in the insurance sector. He expressed his commitment to move forward in collaboration with all concerned.
Sushil Dev Subedi, Executive Director of Nepal Insurance Authority, said that the management is ready to collaborate with employee unions on issues including the rights and interests of employees.
The program was chaired by Shambhu Prasad Mishra, President of Nepal Insurance Authority Employees Union.
