Kathmandu. The Nepal Insurance Authority (INSURANCE) has announced that all insurers will make arrangements to produce at least one latest insurance policy.
The announcement was made in the annual insurance policy and programme unveiled by the NRA today. For this, the AUTHORITY will facilitate.
Similarly, the NRA has also taken a policy to prepare and carry out insurance policy according to the needs of the insured after studying and researching the current status of insurance. The AUTHORITY has a policy to amend the existing legal provisions regarding the investment of the insurer according to the time.
In the policy and program, the NRA has decided to revise the existing legal provisions related to reinsurance according to the time, develop a mechanism to promote gender inclusion in the insurance sector and prepare a new death rate schedule.
Similarly, policies and programmes have been adopted to prioritize climate change and disaster risk management, to carry out necessary works including construction of legal framework, to work related to the establishment of insurance information center, to work related to the establishment of insurance information center, to work related to the implementation of insurance development fund, to study the existing disease (tariff) in the insurance sector and to revise it according to time, and to encourage the study and research related to insurance.
